A packet is a group of three or more signatures. The first is a packet type signature. This is followed by one or more data signatures. The last is a checksum signature.
- The packet type signature is 9 bits long and the 9th bit is always set to 0.
- Data signatures are 8 bits long.
- The checksum signature is 9 bits long and the 9th bit is always set to 1.
