This wiki contains information about the Recoil line of blasters and accessories.
Unlike other systems, Recoil requires the blasters to be paired with an Android or iOS device over Bluetooth Low Energy. The blasters cannot be used without pairing them to another device.
The Recoil app works with the Recoil Wi-Fi hub, which is included in the multi-player starter pack. Outdoor games make use of the GPS in the paired devices. The phones can display the location of randomly placed item drops that include ammo, armor, and land mines along with the locations of teammates and enemies. Voice communication is also available.
